DNA extractions from rat liver, human blood and saliva were performed using two extraction methods. Upon measuring the isolates with the DropSense96 platform, a spectral analysis with the cDrop software shows distinct differences between the two extraction methods in terms of DNA yield, turbidity and presence of contaminating RNA and protein. These results can be used to evaluate the performance of the extraction methods and facilitate the selection procedure for end-users.
