Barcode reader
DropPlates 96S and 96D are barcoded, and Trinean offers the possibility to integrate an internal barcode reader to scan 96-well DropPlates.
Advantages of Trinean's Barcode Reader:
- Automatically differentiate DropPlates S from DropPlates D
- Give a warning on expiry date of plates
- Avoids mixing plates during experiments (DropQuant assigns measurements automatically)
- Track samples in HT routine process
The internal barcode reader can be installed by Trinean (or a certified distributor) within the DropSense96. It can be done at customer site later if not ordered with the instrument. Once installed, the Barcode reader is recognized by the DropSense96 and can be used immediately.
Barcode features on DropPlates 96S/96D:
- Unique identification per disposable, 12 digits (0-9,a-z,A-Z)
- Code includes: type of plate, lot nr, expiry date, UID
- Code 128, 2 dots/line
- Can be read by any barcode scanner (internal Trinean scanner or external commercial barcode reader)
