Trinean technology for improved UV-VIS characterization of droplets can be useful in multiple fields. Trinean is developing specialized optical instruments and disposable chips to improve workflows in terms of cost, throughput and robustness in the following applications:

Physicochemical profiling of drugs – Understanding the key properties of drugs as part of in vitro ADME testing. Trinean is currently developing a novel DropSense96 with specific microfluidic disposables and software for ADME tests.

Enzyme assays – Mixing and read-out of enzyme reactions. Trinean plans to develop novel microfluidic systems for high-throughput mixing-on-chip applications with very small volumes.

Clinical diagnostics – Mixing and read-out of clinical enzymatic and turbidimetric assays. Trinean plans to use its novel technology to improve clinical diagnostics in terms of robustness, cost and multiplexing.
